went to the cricket last night
the results are here - we totally smashed em

basically we played really really well, and it was all too much for south africa. i think their fielding let them down, and ours was a stand out (except for martyns dropped catch). our guys were just great, martyn almost got a tonne, and symonds strike rate was over 200.

on a more personal note, we had great seats (row A - yes right on the fence), and makhyah had a great time, trying to signal 4, and yelling out go ricky when he wasnt even in. we were going to get some merchandise, but its all ridiculously expensive.

apparently there has been some talk on the morning tv about the uniforms (ours). and that we shouldnt let south africa take our colours from us. personally i liked what we wore... its different, i also thought the nicknames were a nice touch - whoever came up with bracken's needs to be a little more creative (bracks).

so makhyah fell asleep in the car, around 9.45. and well... he's still in bed. so i guess it was a big night.
