i like things like this, that add a richness and depth to something we are so familiar with. i wonder if we should think about scripture in this light more often. Or maybe even... an excercise where everyone re-writes the passage (sure this may take some exegetical background - maybe?) but it would sure add to the communal experience, as we all see and hear differently depending on our experience of God.
