is it just me, or is it hot in here?

well, it isnt just me

we bought an air conditioner today
to cool down our lounge room
our house is just too hot
oh well, it will sure help
especially nj and jumbles

relative quiet

last few days have just been pretty quiet really.
starting to think about what we want to do with our kitchen - thats a task and a half... but besides that, not much has been going on. its good to have people here, but its also nice to have the house to ourselves... its a balance i guess.

I'm having coffee with Tim from SU tomorrow to chat with him about this job he thinks i might be suitable for. So, who knows what will happen there. Its a bit of an adventure at the moment, next year is rather uncertain at the moment. Hopefully within the next few weeks i will know the where to from here stuff. who knows?

shed is up

spent the morning with Kenn (thanx champion), getting the shed built. So, we can get rid of all our stuff out the house now. It filled up quickly too (funny that).

Then off to Cam and Jo's engagement. Good time. Grant, Mick and Rach should get here soon, then i think we're going out tonight...

what a day

its just been an exhausting day, and well i lament this as i contemplate going to bed.

sure i cleaned lots of the house, and cut the grass. so im physically tired

and then i have that whole job thing thats on my mind

plus... ive just been told about another job going that would work for me. but i dont know what i want right now.

looking forward to a good time this weekend. may not be able to blog for a few days due to busyness, we'll see... thats all for now...

house cleaning day

so, we've got Mick, Grant and Rachel arriving tomorrow, staying with us till Tuesday. Up for Copland's wedding (more on this later i'm sure).

Looking forward to this weekend, but today is a pretty busy day because of it. Oh well, its time to get rid of all the boxes lying arround the house, and start having some order. And who knows... I imagine i will find some things that i forgot we even had.

shed slab

spent the morning with Kenn (who is a champion, thanx mate) and Karz and Makhyah, pouring a slab for our shed. Hopefully the shed will be up and sorted by next weekend, when Mick, Grant and Rachel get here - for Copland's wedding.

Why does it need to be done by then?
So we can get rid of all the shed things (like golfclubs, lawn mowers and the solarium), so there is space for people to sleep. Besides that, its good to have an excuse to get things done.
