a post for twitonetwit.

so, i recieved a comment on my last post from twitonetwit that after half the days thought i deleted. i think maybe she was onto something, but really the whole thing made me feel a smidge uneasy so i got rid of it. but... its worth commenting on so thats what im doing now.

i wonder if we are ever totally balanced or if we are ever really who we are?
sure, ofcourse we are always who we are, but is that really us.

as we have geneticists on one hand saying all we are is a make up of our genes, and various social commentators of sorts (sociologists, pyschologists, anthropologists, philosophists - hmmm?) saying that we are simply a make up of our environment, i wonder where the truth lies. and im sure that not all there is to the equation. where does, soul (?) come into it? what really makes us, us?

so... having sounded deep but not necessarily inteligent (thanx twit) i leave it there, not knowing much more than the fact that we are who we are, and its all rather complex... and really... i doubt this one is going to be answered, ever...

maybe wanting to be something more than what we are is a motivator that helps us be who we are becoming.

oh... and last word on twitonetwit. check her blog out, brand new, but worth a read... well i thought so anyway.
