sufjan stevens, whose name i pronounce as if the first sylable rhymes with poof (as in the thing you put your feet on) and second syllable yarn... so... sufjan, is great, really been getting into illinios, particularly like jacksonville, but its all good.
the beautiful girls, have been growing on me. heres a tip, dont just type beautiful girls into a search without specifying it’s the band.
counting crows, are still a band i enjoy listening to, was listening to august (and everything after) the other day, such a great album. i think every thing theve done this millennium leaves a fair bit to be desired however.
kaiser chiefs, are like my refreshing soft drink at the moment – gives me a burst of energy, but too much sends me silly. na na na na na na! i just dont take them too seriously.
wanting to check out in some more depth - holly throsby, new buffalo (heard her version of 4 seasons in one day today, really interesting), josh pyke, clare bowditch and the feeding set. not sure when that will happen, but its list i can quickly flick to for future reference. oh... and silver city (just for something totally different) really interest me. nicole foot has played a coupla their (i think its a them) songs and they are awesome.
