Lisening to the J's this morning Steve Cannane mentioned something oh so true. If you look back at John Safran vs God, episode 7 (look here) its clear to see who is the champion of the day when it comes to the socceroos making the world cup (or the US World Cup according to an american finance chick on suynrise this morning).
We only made the world cup last time (1974) due to a witchdoctor giving us a hand. And well, stingey mungrels didnt pay the guy - so he cursed us. And well... what does John Safran have to do with this. He got the curse removeb by a Mozambiquean Witchdoctor - during his last series (vs God).
So sure, Kewell played well, Aloisi kicked an important goal, and Shwarzer might have saved a couple... but why??? All because of John Safran.
