Denile... or maybe that should be Denial...

Listening to the J cast this week, Chris and Craig did this great take off called "wolfmother creek". Very amusing. So anyways, they played that, then they played bits from an interview with Wolfmother. I have to say that my respect for them has dropped significantly - the guy was basically ripping into people who say they sound like other bands... "name the track, name the melody" he said.

C'mon dude - the vocals sound sooooo much like Robert Plant, and the music in most part is a mix of Led Zep and Black Sabbath (with some other bits and pieces from the era thrown in for good measure - Yes, The Who). I'm digging your sound, but pretty unimpressed with the fact that you guys are kidding yourselves. It's a good thing to be reviving a great genre, you should be proud. Oh well... I can think you're tools (or at least somewhat toolish) and still like your music, so thats what i choose to do.
